Feels like MD to me also
Interesting group. Nice bronze patina.
Great exhibit. Very informative.
Maybe just minor struck through grease, which hides a few characters.
You start off the year with a nice coin!
Here are 2 struck errors. NY State Quarter Triple Struck [ATTACH] 1976 Lincoln Double Struck [ATTACH]
The Red color on the quarter is beautiful, and it is on the reverse side. Nice!
Nice coin. The blank planchet area is quite clean on both sides.
I also like the top one more. Better portrait to enjoy, and the portrait seems more complete than the bottom one.
+1 Post Mint Damage
I agree to the jewelry mounting theory.
The "Value 5000" coin at the upper left could be interesting...
Thanks for your information about this very interesting banknote.
I also think it’s worth around $5-10. Definitely a keeper though, since the struck through is more on the favorable reverse side.
My favorite also changes from time to time. Recently, I am into capped bust half. Like this one quite a lot, and I carry it with me outside during...
It is a very nice medal, Chris. Full of details obverse and reverse. Beautiful. I would impulse-buy the same medal as well.
Here is my silver Austria 1860A Florin. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Happy 2020! Here are 2 more world errors in my collection. A multi-struck 2017 Indian 2-rupees. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] And a 2000 Canadian quarter...
Very nice collection of Roman empresses. I particularly like the Faustina I and Julia Maesa example.
Nice state quarter mint error! I also think the deeply-defined rim indicates a struck through grease, rather than die adjustment.
