I felt pretty sure it wasn't a 58. I voted 55, but 53 is reasonable. Bottom line, it's a lovely coin and I wish it were mine!

Pretty straightforward. If that's PVC residue, soaking in acetone should remove it. Let's see what others think.

You're not alone. For me, SLQs are among the tougher coins to grade.
I have a 1973 five cents, in the matte finish like yours. Franklin Mint was doing exquisite work back then, don't you think?
