For me I would have to consider why I bought the nickel in the first place. I would not have bought it hoping to make money on it but to collect...
From these pictures I would pass. There doesn't apear to be any luster and the toning looks bad.
I thought the grade was fair.
Nicely toned Peace dollars are not common and command a strong premium. I think yours might even get a 63 - I've seen some pretty beat up 63s...
Worth it! You could take that money saved and buy another coin!

Amazing set! I really like the electrum with the cent as it puts them into perspective. Don't own any electrum...so all I can do here is gawk.

My opinion: cleaning is fine so long as it does not damage the coin. A damaged coin is worth less than an undamaged one. Toning can destroy...
