Dingy toning is not atypical for a Maine. The PVC green goo, courtesy of the sleeve it was in, is not, and is likely what is killing the luster...
If it's crusted goo, then yes. If it's corrosion, cut bait. Doesn't look promising from here.
I'd really have to see the surfaces of the obverse better to be able to comment on the grade. 62PL seems plausible.
I'd be happy with your 91-O. Nice looking coin in a tougher grade. 89-CC VAM 4A doesn't exist, so you can ignore that one.
And so the joke about Sac dollars looking like Chuck E Cheese tokens back when they came out becomes funnier.
I imagine that somewhere there is a die-hard collector of these that could author a Whitman Red Book on the series.
Have you called customer service to point out this discrepancy in their pricing and how it affected you? They don't continually update pricing on...
