Vcoins seller is in Spain. Ebay seller is Barcelona, USA???? I think the seller has it on Vcoins and ebay.
Ro, are you saying these are two different coins?
Number 2.
That term turned up during my google searches.
Ivan the Misunderstood it is then :D
Thanks everyone. Ivan the great would be cool. I looked on Vcoins but couldn't find a match. It is part of a lot, things might be clearer when...
Thanks Orfew. Possibly Tsar Ivan III Vasiljevich, circa 1479-1490. But I really don't know what I am reading....
I probably wouldn't do any different. If my collection disappeared for some reason and I had to start again, I just wouldn't buy uncleaned lots....
Can anyone read Russian? Trying to identify this coin (sellers pics, no idea of weight) [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Sorry Ro, I have been on my phone most of the last few days, no good for posting. No sestertius, my one and only Macrinus [IMG] [IMG] Macrinus...
Very nice. Mine only weighs 2g and doesn't have anything in the fields. [IMG] [IMG] Hadrian (Augustus) Region, City: Caesarea , Cappadocia...
I think it has been tried before but was rejected. I think that a sticky for on-line references and another for fake s would be invaluable.
Yes, but now you look about 17 :D
No idea. I started buying uncleaned lots (mostly culls), I remember the first coin I could identify, it was a Diocletian. I was thrilled to bits.
@Kentucky that is an excellent coin, want to swap brothers?
Nice to see you around @ro1974 again, we have missed you.
Stunning sestertius. Mine is seriously horrible.
Yay, I'm having trouble getting past those cupcakes too.....
And the weight.
It is a question of space and two dogs who like to "help".
