Love it! That's a great coin.
Yeah I dunno there was just another thread the other day that had similar characteristics on the letters and someone said die shift so just...
Ahh I see thanks. It's a great coin. The C and O on the reverse is that die shift or is it just normal for the period? I really don't know a lot...

So it's been exactly a year now since I've started collecting coins. I still remember holding my first ancient, (I dropped it within the first two...
I forgot to add this Arcadius. A very nice gift from @Ken Dorney. Thanks again man! [ATTACH]
I got this one from my SS this past year. I had wanted one of these since I first saw the type so I was very pleased when I opened the card....
FAC is very trustworthy. You can also get some good deals on their free auctions.

Sweet coin Steve, you have some awesome examples from Thessaly. I only have this one from Pharsalos also from the BCD collection. [ATTACH]
The date on the second one is 185 which would be 127BC when Alexander II ruled. The reverse is Dionysos standing left holding kantharos & thyrsos.
First one is probably Artemis.
I think your second coin is a bust of Alexander II Zabinas.
Great pickup @randygeki! Sweet FH too [ATTACH]
