hmm I wonder if I should get a few of my roosies reslabbed (46-s/47-s/49-d MS66 FT) that appear to have a die rotation. I have to double check...
How off does a coin have to be in order for it to be considered a die rotation?
looks like that nickel was hit by other nickels when it was being processed at the mint. looks like MD to me
that is awesome, I cant wait to have an experience with my son as you did with yours! This is definitely a memory that is worth a million dollars!
To many distracting nicks in my mind. Probably got a 65 but i gave it a 64.
I think it;s a 62 but gave it a 63. I differ from coinmaster, I think it has great detail, decent luster, few nicks, Thanks for sharing RLM!!
who are you talking about that has the numbers correct?
there is only 1 spot for silver because any date above 1992 the Kennedy half dollar was 90% silver. Like state quarter guy said 65 - 70 and 76...
that's either die detoriation or a lamination error.
IF I did my research right, I should get the first number correct.. :) G 10142883*
It is. I have yet to see any 09 Dime/Nickel and rolls are just 2 ridiciously expensive...it's cheaper to buy an UNC set then to buy a roll lol.
green, Thanks for posting a little about the Coast Guard (sentimental for obvious reasons hehehe)..it's a real beauty and hope you were able to...
thanks Jet..that is pretty cool, great finds!
I think its PMD.
forgive my ignorance but what is so special about the 1 dollar bills?
