Well not sure what to do with this one. So I just went with 65.
Looks like verdigris to me - looks like it has already started eating into the coin. Then again I am not an expert on verdigris versus PVC.
Thanks Noost. That explains why I could not find it with a search on airtite.
Seemed to me someone once said put it in the freezer. I can't seem to find the thread. It seems to me there were a couple of suggestions.
I rolled throught them quickly: 1909 64 1909 65 1986 D 66 1987 D 66 1933 65 1945 D 66 1995 67 2006 66 - Seemed spotty to me....
Nothing wrong with a test. I think you got a nice batch being sent in - the only questionable one I saw was the 1912. The color looks off in the...
This is what she is trying to avoid. Miz should never meet a stranger alone. I am sure you meant well, but not worth the risk. Chris and...

I agree - internet attributions can be risky. I think web resources(assuming you know the source) can assist in attributions, but should not be...
Never knew those were there. I am always looking at her coins. This should be interesting. I have a feeling you might even get a few customer...
PS - Don't think you can use heritage, or just coinzip to attribute a coin. You still need the books. My books are always the first option.
It is easy to check the attributions when doing this. For example if the first coin I pull up on heritage might have the wrong variety(I see this...
Congrats. Give the kids some time they might change their minds.
Stick with what Doug says. The only thing I would add is buying or grading from pictures makes it even harder to determine some of these issues....
4th Edition works just fine for me. If I need to see better illustrations for a coin then I go to heritage and pull up the date and overton number.
Always good to read your reports. Especially since there is more than just the show and coins.
Yes - ignore the taunts. You know how much fun collecting is. Heck even at my age sometimes when I mention it people shake their heads and can't...
