It's not a valuable coin so clean away if that's what you want to do. Just remember that it won't look as good to most collectors cleaned as it...
DON'T, I REPEAT, DON'T CLEAN IT!! Obviously, I agree with all the responders above who said to leave it as is.
As I've said on here before, almost all of my coins are certified. The reason is for my heirs, so whoever they try to sell them to won't claim...
You might consider sending it to a third-party service that is less expensive than the "big boys." I would recommend ANACS.
I hadn't seen the reveal when I wrote the above. Looked like too much wear to be a 58, but what do I know?
55 or an incredibly weak strike on the eagle's breast feathers.
Your belief is correct, but it was Dahlonega and Charlotte.
I was going to say Heritage My Collection, but I see Lehigh 96 beat me to it. You get updated wholesale and retail values and lots of places to...

Here are two of my favorite SLQs. I bought the 1924-S in an NGC slab, sent it to PCGS to crossover, then sent it to CAC. What do you think was the...
65 FSB.
When I said F15, I was basing it on the breast lines. They're not complete so not a VF to me.
The Standing Liberty 25c I mentioned above is now a PCGS MS64 with a green bean.
Based on having seen many thousands of circulated and uncirculated Washington 25c, I would guess XF40. Where you see all this subdued luster is...
If I hadn't seen the reveal, I would have guessed either F15 or VF20, but probably F15. It's definitely better than VG10. I'm basing that on 65+...
