Such a tragedy, I am sorry to hear of your loss, and I wish you the best of luck.... I can't imagine having lost that many coins and not even...
No, these coins are not rare by any means but are cool coins to hang onto, the only way there values goe over $5 is in MS grades, nice find though.
Welcome to CT, my youtube friend.
If you have numbers 00 and such, I would definitely keep 'em, but I would like to see some pics, as well.
I did, you gotta wonder, was the engraver knocking a few back?
Yes proofs, are graded just like business strikes. I'd grade this one as a PF-63, you payed about cost for this penny.
In short, it's oxidization.
Ok, next option..... which of the following does your coin look like??...
The problem is finding quarters.
Tampa, huh?? My uncle lives down near Brandon, I think it is...
The green buildup...on the coin, almost looks like algae.
Yes, and it's also corroded, has verdigris, and looks porous....
Good idea, and the best of luck!!!
Well it's not in the greatest condition....
Yes, grading would'nt be a terrible idea.... I'm thinking this is a Ms-62, so that night bring between $200-$350.
I am pretty sure he is being sarcastic about the irony of the situation.....:rollling::foot-mouth:
Well, you can either keep it or sell it so.... whatever you want to do.
Are you THE, Howard Stern??? lol jk
Oh, and welcome.
Yes, post this in the errors section, not everyone has as much diversity as green and myself do....
