Actually EVERY antique shop I have been to knows enough about coins to make them grossly overpriced. Most of them at least have a redbook...

Early colonials and French coins that were used in the US colonies. The things that will go DOWN in value is toned coins. JMPO

I have a 1796 Mo 8R buried in my front yard right now LOL...
It leaves a shiny look though. :( I use a very similar product called Blue Ribbon. My local coin shop sells Coin Care to though.
