Wonderful pieces! It appears you are a collector that prefers quality over quantity. I look forward to seeing more of your coins!
A rather nice RR denarius. Very respectable. Congrats!
The Mt. Argaeus type is my favourite ethnic Cappadocian type. Glad to hear you got one!
I am as anti-slab as they come, but that one I wouldn't crack out. It is your coin though, so do as you please. BTW, the hammer method works fine...
Would you tolerate an auction house dictating to you how many lots you can bid on and how much to bid? I think not. And yes, I have been 'clio'd'...
Hmmm ... I can't wait to see it!
A splendid example of the type! You can clearly make out the mysterious small figures on the capital. But that's a discussion for another thread!
Admittedly, it takes a special kind of collector who appreciates campgates, fallen horsemen, and Domitianic Minervas. I am one of those weirdos.
No. However, I still paid high retail for the piece. Apparently at least one other bidder realised what is special about it.
The Minerva on captial is my favourite of the four standard Minerva types Domitian struck throughout his reign. That is an exquisite example of it!
I got this one earlier in the month but just now have gotten around to cataloguing it. IMHO, a really nice Flavian feather in the cap!...
Nice additions Randy!

You should. I got mine over the weekend. Looking forward to finding the time to sit down with it.
Two steps forward, one step back. Too bad about the forgery, but I'm glad to see the end goal getting so close.
Congratulations @Curtisimo! May I present to you the ultimate Flavian power couple - Domitian and Domitia. [ATTACH] Domitian AR Cistophorus,...
Great pick-up @Mat! Nicely toned too.
Ceres was a very popular type during the Flavian era. This is probably one of my rarer ones. [ATTACH]Titus AR Denarius, 3.16g Rome mint, 24 June...
Fantastic tiny treasures everyone! Bart Lewis wrote an article for The Celator concerning ancient magnifying lenses....
Superb list. Thanks for posting it. I didn't see Civitas Galleries listed:...
