That's partly why I think it's a DDO. I don't see how Die Deterioration could make the "O" look like that.

It looks like a true DDO to me. I see notching on the word "IN" and the letter "D" in "GOD".

I vote, not an error as well. Notice that all the lettering has copper plating. The only way that could've happen is if there were perfectly...
It usually takes 3-5 days if you're using the vinegar method.
It looks like it was damaged, but I can't really give a firm opinion because the photos are a bit out of focus.
