You found a great coin! I am not an expert on these varieties, but I love its condition.
You could be correct. I am basing my claim on what I heard Q David Bowers and other numismatic legends say. Currently, I think there are about...
Certainly, numismatics has been trending downward in recent decades despite the popularity of the state quarters. I suspect numismatics will still...
I like what @Lehigh96 suggested. The 1917 T 1 SLQ is one of my 1st choices, too.
This reminds me of an 1885 VF V nickel I bought back in 1989, early in my collecting that had several tiny scratches where the "LIBERTY" motto...
Fascinating!!! So, there are 54 type coins in this collection? How much is such a set for average condition coins? I would love to own one!

MS 62.
Many already beat me to it, but I agree it looks more like an 1891.
I don't think I am so worthy of thanking since I am just an amateur next to many of these members.
Obvious fake.
I am not so sure it was cleaned. It looks like a MS 60, maybe 61.
Ooh, your coin is looking better each time. Ha, ha! Now it actually looks like an AU 50+
Sorry, but I don't smoke hemp or drink alcohol, but I won't condemn those who do. Ha, ha!
Much better photos. I still say XF 40-45, but not as roughed up looking. Ha, ha!
