I really like some of the old white ANAC's slabs - sometimes you get accurately grade coins pretty cheap. Some of them are good crossover coins....

Dipping done right won't hurt the coin. Some of those blast white morgans are good examples - those are still nice coins. I would not try it...
As mentioned get some books first. Maybe even some albums where you can collect from spare change - even those sets are fun to put together....

I would say 64 and 65 in that order. I think the pictures don't really show the luster that is on the coins. 2 very nice coins.
