A spender. I am wondering what makes someone think that this coin is possibly an error. Not trying to be rude, just to the point.
The coin looks legit. I would buy it. Could be a scorned exwife. Who knows. https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/5939641-011/30/
It is just a well worn 43D steel cent. The mark above the date is PMD.
It looks like a real token. But, I don't believe that it is silver. Most political tokens were made of base metals. Copper, Bronze etc. @johnmilton
Try backing off on the lights a little. It will show more of the details. From your last photos I would think it grades somewhere between 63 and...
I will reveal the grade a little later today. There are some pretty good guess's so far.
This is a difficult year to hand out a PL or DMPL. Because of how nice all the coins were struck. It seems that some of the older slabs were much...
Too me yours loks like a large O. I would check it against the VAM's listed, before you go submitting it. Also @messydesk is the MAN. He might be...
Yeah sorry for my photos. The reverse has quite a bit more contrast than what shows in the photo. Just a reminder. Per PCGS standards. The PL and...

I am not a bill guy, I like coins. It seems we all missed that. I am now leaning to fake, and that is why it disappeared from EBAY.
Good eyes LENNY.
Heavy, the bill that @Jack D. Young posted is missing the IGWT on the reverse. Even some of the details are slightly different.
There is slight fattening of letters on Liberty and date. IGWT shows some nice notching and separation lines.
If it ever went up for auction again I would imagine that the slab, is worth more than the coin itself.
If it's over graded I will say xf40 My thoughts though is VF30.
You can say that again. The rest of the box was 1881 Morgans. I almost bought one of them also, They all were toned on both sides. They all were...
Thanks I really wish that it didn't have the finger print on the front. But the price made me say yes.
Hopefully you can get some descent photos of the coin, Proofs can be tricky. Just going off the auction results of the two sold It seems you would...
It has definitely been circulated. The other issue it may have is planchet roughness. Clad planchets are very dense and a lot of the roughness is...
