@Insider It seems technical grading has come up often this past week. I even put up a GTG using technical grading in the title. I had thought...
If you look closely this one has a slight bit of evidence of a the clash on the reverse. I can see the back of the head in the sheild above the E...
Also has an EPU clash.
I will give this the rest of the day and post the reveal later this evening.
I thought you were referring to the ghostly look of his jacket.
This actually looks like it was soaked in acetone too long. There is literally zero skin on that coin.
That is his jacket. As for the question posted...Dies do not crack in a straight line.
It's neither an off center or broad struck. Maybe a slightly misaligned obverse die, but not enough to be worth a premium.

What I would have to ask is did the obverse die get replaced? Also this coin does not look uncirculated. Neat find, I think that it should get...
It does have some very smooth reflective fields, I personally don't feel that this coin would merit a PL designation. Is that even a given...
Is that across the board. 62 Technical 62 Market?
I have a hard time passing up a soap box slab. The coins age nicely and you know that the coin was graded more on a technical standard rather than...
I believe it is still at NGC.
Here are a couple Apollo coins that I have. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
