I threw it in a roll. The acetone didn't do much of anything. On to better coins.
Honestly remove all of them from the holder and soak them in some distilled water. If the holder is that damaged then there is no use in keeping...
I soaked in distilled water for about 2 days. I will try the acetone first. But probably needs some xylene which I don't have at the moment.
Hey, DDO's and DDR's are difficult to find. If they were easy then they wouldn't be worth the premium. You can either step away and take a break...
Yeah let me see if I can do that. The patina is just so darn dark. I really can't get enough light on it.
Something I figured would be posted by a member here is that the supposed MM does not match the known RPM's on VV and Brians Variety's.
I think that you are missing the pick ups for this DDO. The first is a doubled B at the bottom, and the second is the hook at the top of the 9....
I already have a bottle. I just don't like using it on damaged coins.
From what I have read there are 4 MM placement 2 of them are RPM's You can find them on Wexler. http://doubleddie.com/754355.html I have noticed...
Only one photo of what I see. Hopefully the photo gives enough details. This was a ground find. [ATTACH] The secondary D is raised. Two-part...
I like the no line Fatty's.
Thats exactly what I was looking for. I am thinking strike thru myself.
I went XF46 because I couldn't tell between XF45 and AU50. The feather tips are fairly worn. I can't see much of any luster in the photos.
1 is the bottom of the Memorial. 2 is the top cornice area of the Memorial If you look closely there are some of the pillars still evident above...
@Paddy54 That first coin has so many die polishing lines. I can see now how you might have thought that. That is the memorial clash. I will take...
These are from a $50 mint bag. I just picked some random coins that I have pulled so far.
There are 3 or 4 that show a bit of clashing in hand.
I didn't notice any spike heads I will have to check them again.
Here are the reverses. In the same order. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
