It looks a lot like the second one from the top. Just half of the collar is gone.
I have never bought any business strikes. You could be right. Wasn't there red and blue boxed Eagles? Both proof?
I tried and tried to get a photos. The cracks are so minute that I would probably need a stereo microscope. On the forehead and hair is a bunch of...
Most folks are going to want the box and COA. Do you have them?
I thought I saw the same, but the same tones are on the coin, could be the lighting.
The lines don't fully remove. They show lightly, as the coin tones over again they show back heavy. It happens as the ingot is rolled to planchet...
Cool split die on the 1838P.
I would try the tissue test. It also could be plated, but the tones even look silver.

That depends on what the reverse looks like. It is probably just a mis aligned obverse die.
Yes this is a doubled die, just not the valuable kind. This Master die made many a working hub with the same doubling.
I agree with DDD. The 95D DDO is hard to come by. The motto should be pretty convicing if you find one. It's not a bad looking cent though.
Link? I want to see some 5 dollar gold.
