Many of the coins in Saxby's inventory are legit, so just because you bought from them does not mean you got a fake groat. But I agree with Gil...
I wish I could tell you something about the groat, but it's not my line.
The problem is, Saxby's typically has a handful of fakes mixed in with a bunch of authentic coins, so you've got to know your stuff.
