46 is known for having a weak date. They are either grease/debri filled or the result of an extreme die polishing.
Split plate doubling or MD. Not a valuable type of doubling.
I would like to see the opposite side. Looks like a cud though.
Eye appeal is my focus. It can be an ancient a token or a US coin, even a modern.
Sorry just can't see any detail in the photos. It is probably a plating blister by the looks of the rest of the coin.
