Sometimes, a coin will have weak digits or letters. This can happen for a variety of reasons. But yours looks to be a combination of wear/damage.

I thought these always came back as Quest Authenticity not Counterfeit.
I've used them and my experience was fine. I only stopped because it was a couple dollars more to have PCGS plastic instead.
