I am sorry to here you have to let those coins go Rueben. Very nice Mercuries.
I agree. Good summary Rick. It is a beautiful coin. I love die polishing lines.
Thanks. I agree. I have several I want to send over, and will send to NGC. THanks. Lightening response- I think that was under 1 mintue....
Do you think this would grade Charmy? I posted before and others said it would not. Just curious what you think.
Thanks Frank and bph. Great stories and points. I learned something here. Appreciate those gems of knowledge from guys like you in the know....
Amazing Charmy. Totally insane toning. I am very jealous. I have an MS 60ish one I am trying to get graded now at PCGS. That coin is unreal.
Insane Charmy! Love your coins. I never knew about these.
Sorry- I didn't see these last few posts. Bryd and Mark H made some great points and I agree.
The Man12- I can't tell if it's been cleaned but I would not discount AJ's opinion (just MHO). I think it shows no signs of wear except the lower...
Leadfoot got it perfect. The 24 is 64 RB and the 33 is 64 RD. I was happy and agreed with the grades. So far all of my submissions to PCGS have...

Great ones Leeg! So Jello- did you get the 1935 D in RD to replace the sold ones?

Could NCS help that coin? Anyway, very amazing. Very rare find. Congrats
Spock- I think those are considered mechanical doubling but not sure. Maybe the experts on that could pipe in.
I don't know of any 24 varities, but I noticed the "2" has a doubling look. The nick on the forward of Abe is from the die I believe (not post mint).
More photos. More up close photos:
Sent a batch of 11 coins to PCGS, so it was fun to get them back and I've slowly posted some of these. I'll wait till Thursday night....
Thanks guys. I didn't expect so many nice complements! I guess I am picky about the coins I buy (I have become picky). If your gonna spend the...
Looks to have been whized with a grinder. Totally bogus.
