NCS Might be your only hope but I hate to say it... looks like that poor thing is too far gone to save. :( Still, it's a 21-S with at least VF...
Nice coin, don't crack ti! Well.. if it'll go 67 Crack it, but for a 66? Meh, I'd rather have the OGH.
It depends on the error. PCGS will generally slab any coin with a lamination, and most any with a cracked planchet as well as many strikethroughs...
A lot of people don't like to hear this, but the vast majority of US coins are worth more in PCGS holders than NGC's and ANACS is a distant 3rd....
You don't need to use a scrub brush to destroy the surfaces of the coin. From the pictures that you posted, the 50c piece in question shows...
Those are almost certainly surface hairlines and the damage is irreversible. My guess is that the coin was an XF, worth about $40-50, now? My...
Last I looked Greysheet bid was $135, they are buyable for 80% of that... that's $108 If Im buying them for $110-115 each, selling them to APMEX...
The 50c piece looks scrubbed and cleaned, it's got hairlines all over it. If you did that then I am afraid that you severely devalued the coin....

If it's a PR70 then the reholder cost is $20 or $30 IIRC
You can buy generic dates for $100-120 each.. NGC coins closer to the $100 mark, PCGS Blue Labels in and around 110-115. Obviously attractive...
Do what I do, watch the coins that I watch on Heritage.... I was paying attention to Barbers, SLQs and Walkers at the FUN sale. With the noted...
Morgans have been weak for quite a while, and on a wholesale basis generic dates in MS65 are still easily buyable for 20% back of CDN bid. Mid...
FBL franklins seem to be one of the exceptions, as PCGS only considers the lower set of Bell Lines and NGC considers upper and lower sets. I...
It looks like a 53 to me, AU58 Morgans really need to look like nice 63+ uncs with just a trace of rub. Tough to make a determination on the...
Yes, and they are. Take a coin with very little spread through the grades... say, an SVDB. If they're on the fence as to whether or not the...
