I searched back thru the old posts and found threads on 4 different Cheerios dollars sold on eBay in Aug-Sept of 2005. $2500 $5900 $3850 $4000...
I saw several(4) sell in the origional packaging on eBay. All in the $4000 to $6000 range.
My opinion...The fed would only collect copper cents for melt if the cent is totally eliminated. If there is only an alloy change I don't think...

The register would automatically round the transaction, they already do this with fractions of cents of sales tax. In this case you would get 95...
