25 centavos from the Dominican Republic, found in a roll of quarters at a boardwalk arcade.
Most memorable? I'd say this Lincoln cent. [IMG]

Close to a repeater, but not quite. [IMG] Lowest number I've seen. [IMG]
I have a black Lincoln cent, does your Indian Head cent look something like this? [IMG]

Take your pick, it's 3 denominations worth of ugliness. [IMG]
Found in circulation, I've never seen one like this before. Both sides are shiny and appear iridescent (like the colors in an oil spill). Any idea...
Interesting, what does the reverse look like?
For now I'll just post my oldest American coin and my oldest foreign coin. The other 3 in the top 5 are all Indian head cents from the 1880s....

Interesting, I've got 3 Lincolns with this same pattern, all from Denver. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
A museum in Kansas? Water stains? Stars? Did it belong to Kansas born astronaut Ronald Evans? And was with him on Apollo 17?
Shocking, the 3rd auction ended with no bids. Guys seems determined to sell though, he relisted again (but still won't lower the price)....
Looks like an honest mistake, seller is in Canada and doesn't realize Buffalo nickels have no silver. Probably assuming silver color = silver content.
Same guy is selling the same type coin for the same price in another auction, but never mentions steel, only silver and copper....
My one and only Peace dollar. Not the best condition, but I like it. [IMG] [IMG]
No story, got this in change at a gas station a few years ago. Oldest note I've seen by far. [IMG]
What do you think it is? Lamination or just a big ugly scratch? [IMG]
Didn't realize I had any woodies until I looked through my Lincoln folders and saw this. At least I think that's what it is. [IMG]
