I'm wondering why the upset mill did not remove the marks.
Reed marks can have many different looks and can kill the value of the coin. This Morgan got it's share of reed marks. [ATTACH]
Someone is not going to be happy when they figure out what they bought. Tough lesson at that price level.
Nice coin. I'm thinking PL for sure. I guess NGC would give it a 64PL.
It's about $2 in silver. Someone might pay a little more if they wanted it.

I have never seen a Lucky coin with lines like that on the edge. Maybe it missed the upset mill?
Coins start toning the day they are made. There is a good chance that the coins will tone even faster because of the change in holders/storage....

I would only use acetone but I don't think it will change the coin much. Acetone will not remove toning.
The first images were better. The second set of images hide the fields and the true color of the coin.

I can't figure it out. Some of the marks make me think of a clashed die but I can't match them to the reverse die. I'll just guess that the die...
I would bet that almost every bust half I have posted on this site, was dipped/cleaned at some point.
