do you have pictures, they are most likely philly business strikes. did you read anything else in the thread except for the post you quoted.

I'll vote plated as well, these are plated by other companies after leaving the mint, and many collectors refer to these as damaged coins.

I agree, and next time, before you bid, just ask here, and you'll get opinions so you don't spend money on a coin that's not worth it.
There is no way to know what the supply or demand will be like in 20 years, it could be worth nothing, or a lot of money, no one knows.
