Compare your coin to these examples from VV fort the RPM. Can't tell from your pictures. Next time show a closeup of the area in question....
Really worn obverse but if you like, keep it, at least until you find a better specimen!
Looking at the rim in that area on the last picture, I think it took a hit which moved a small portion of the rim away from the edge! JMO
