the best way to test if gold is counterfeit is to weigh it i think? its hard to mach the density in gold. i dont really know other ways other...

i would say your grading sounds fairly accurate but as i see the coin is say ms-61 cody
how about we use bluebook value? or as tacobell dog said a coin magazine? if we use blue book it will be harder for us to be in the positive :p
