you wont find them much cheaper. your best bet is to buy uncirculated mint sets and break them up and sell the left overs on ebay
i use whitman classic albums for my "modern" coins they look nice and they are reasonably priced (20-30) dollars give or take a little

that seems a little high but im no expert on the series. they are beautiful coins though
what lighting are you using? regular bulbs will give your coins a funny color. heres a shot i took this morning on a very cloudy day in my car...
i would invest in silver and gold. about 75% in silver and 25% in gold
