That is a stunning coin Ed! Here is my offering for 1678: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
OK - Crown of James II - he was deposed and replaced by William and Mary in 1688: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
OK - here's one I've never posted before - 1852 Gothic Florin. (The date is in Roman numerals on the obverse around 4 o'clock.) [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I am still on for a bit yet. Here is my 1678 offer - another threepence: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I have a couple - Egypt a 20 Piastre from the British administration in 1917 and a 20 Qirsh from approx 1895. (I believe I have those right, but...
...Oh and here is my 1679 offering - another Fourpence I'm afraid! They seem relatively common: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Yes - quite a few but not all Elizabeth coins are dated from her Third issue onwards. I think the earliest date on hers you would find is 1561....
Soon I will start running out - I am OK til 1670, and then a few to 1662, then its get sparse until Elizabeth I around 1602! I hope someone else...
Really nice coins - I love those earlier Copper coins! BTW the second coin is 1837, not 57. William IV reigned 1830 to 37, so it has to be,...

On to 1683 already! Mine is a sixpence - Charles II sixpences are very difficult to get these days: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Moving on - 1684: I have a reasonable Charles II Silver Fourpence, and a much scarcer Tin farthing: [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
A rather nice threepence from 1685: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
For 1686 I have this James II shilling. The sixpences and shillings of James II seem much scarcer than the Half Crowns and Crowns. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
No - not much at all thanks! Just for fun...
Got these two today - had to share! Brothel tokens, each about 45mm diameter and uniface: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Some pretty pick-ups today! British Bank token 1814 for 1s 6d: [ATTACH] [ATTACH] British 1770 Halfpenny - an upgrade for me: [ATTACH] [ATTACH]...
Looks to be 5/2 to me. The Freeman book on British bronze coinage says: "All 1865 farthings seem to have an overstruck "5", but the original...
Arrived today - not the greatest example ever shown but it fills another gap for me. 1687 Half Crown, James II of England. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
I have both Crown and halfcrown photographed for 1687 - the latter only arrived today and is not brilliant but it fills another gap! The Crown is...
