Looks like a cast copy. The 5 in the date looks odd.(filled in) and it may have been cast in sand.
Double struck, i think the line pattern on the back is where the die droped out and stamped blank.
I am not sure if this is p.m.d I can not see any reverse lettering, and how did the monticello get on top of the jeffison.?

It really looks like button, but i have seen silver pennies from about 500ad with a cross like this one. English or german.
I think its die error. The metal can crack and make a patten like this when a small bit of the die has fallen out.
the george VI is not struck as good as the vic. Something about the softness of the middle of the george VI don,t look real.
