all toning is corrosion but generally not considered so until a coin runs into dark black. anyway, the reverse looks like it has spots of dark...
looks corroded. all toning is natural btw. only artificial when it done on purpose. I'll guess no one tried to make this one look that way, so...

Discovered after they were caught... 1 - counterfiters caught making 69 dd's in 1969. 2 - coins confiscated. 3 - 1969S dd discovered in 1970....
