Since at the time mint marks were hand punched into the dies, it's feasible that you are going to see slight variations in mm positioning.
Having a knowledge of dimes, and seeing the photos, I see some of the same reflections I get from my coins when I take pics and the coin seems to...
I like toning, but I also like it to be devoid of things like fingerprints which I definately see on that reverse. I think it is just overgraded...

Good buys IMO, any time you can get a columbian for less than $15 and a nice AU quarter for a buck, you're doing good.
