Looks more like MD to me.
The line between the letters T, E, and D, looks like a common die crack. But the top edge of the letters, looks like mechanical doubling.
I've only seen one of these in hand myself, and I can't remember which slab it was in. Riff, I'd say your's is very close, but it's mighty hard...
