I was at my local today browsing the table of Whitman's in the back, when what do I come across but two complete whitman albums from 1941 to 1969...
roll picking pays off sometimes.
Never have done it with a collectors coin, but I did do it with three 1oz AGE. Bought when they were real cheap, got about $450 a piece for them,...

without exceptionally clean photos I cannot accurately grade the coin. As is, with the specks it is a PF64

sounds like a dropped letter, although it could be a planchet flaw as well but that seems less likely.
Yeah, that quarter only started going red, but the nickel turned blue, the penny a lovely shade orange. [IMG]
Most if not all of that stuff is worth face only.
Again, that dragon is one cool coin.
Yeah, I'd call it VF-30 cleaned, environmental damage, net F-12. But I think he could easily get over $150 on ebay.
