All prizes have been sent! Albeit late :( very very late : (
I don't have any of those, if I did, I'd give them to you for the cost of shipping. Sorry : (
What size coin tubes are you looking for?
Lead foot, I am guessing pr-62 on the seated, proof 63 on the barber, vf-20/25 on the quarter, and AU-50 on the half cent.
I'd grade the 1890-O vf-20. The breast feathers look completely worn, and the rest of the characteristics look consistent to a vf-20 coin to me.
I think your friend paid a little for these, as I think some of them have been cleaned. I would say they are worth about 15-20 each, at most.
Not to mention that the OBVERE... Note, he said OBVERE.
Looks like I wasn't the only one to report it : )
I don't see any nicks, but then again I am looking on a 9 or 10 inch LCD monitor in the lab.
I'm going to say 66-67.
Hm, I guess that would be more plausible, seeing the color is okay.
I think it would definitely be more obvious in hand. I think sometimes it is hard to tell things from pictures, although some people here are...
Reuben, for the morgan look at the neck, I find that personally to be the most obvious. It's missing that little indent. The date is odd too,...
Well, I just obtained my first Netherlands gold coin (well, will be soon). I hope it doesn't become a habit. I got a 1750 14 gulden piece. I am...
If you don't know, click here to find out:...
:D :D I'm quite interested in Netherlands coins. I actually spent the good part of an hour trying to find a book solely on the topic. I...
Just out of curiosity was that coin a proof? It had some very interesting toning.
I had a hard time with the gold piece. I have the darnest time with any gold coin, but I'm completely new to foreign coins. :goofer:
That coin is overgraded. It is a vg 8/10 IMO. I wouldn't pay more than 12 dollars for it personally.
I'm going to guess 64 on the commem, 65 on the barber, 62 on the seated liberty quarter, and xf-45 on the half.
Separate names with a comma.
