I personally would grade that walker a 64. That gash is definitely what I would consider to be a detracting mark. As for the 1880-s, that coin was...
I think 63 would be the right grade for that coin.
I acutally haven't bought too many. I'm up to 27 now : ), still haven't sorted through the ones I just purchased, as I left them at my folks house...
Good news for me since I just got 23 of them for 400 dollars from a former bullion dealer : )
Classic, but barely. If the new one was as compact, then I would like it as much.
Hi, That seller I'm 99% certain has artificially toned coins. I would stear clear, unless you can buy the coins for around grey sheet.
Bump!
There is also some weird doubling/tripling on the cotton blossoms and the leaves. Here is a picture:
Here is a picture of some of the obverse doubling.
I should also mention that on the obverse there is some extremely strong doubling on some letters and stars.
There is also something very peculiar going on with the tail feathers. Could this be a VAM 33?

I don't think I would even grade this thing a vg. I think the only letter showing is L. I think you can find a better deal.
I was thinking the bust was an AU since I detected wear, however, the fields are pretty clean, and I looked at some ms-63's yesterday that I also...
Ok, my guesses on the 1916 walker are either 58 or 64. I'm going to say 63 on the bust, and standing liberty. On the nickel, I'd give it a p-01,...
The first one I'm going to say proof 68/69 deep cameo, and the second I'm going to say 65/66
I think the 96 would go 62 possibly, but something doesn't look right about it to me. It looks like there is some weird residue on the coin,...
Hey Speedy, It's no problem : ) I appreciate you keeping an eye out.
PNGS is a terrible grading company. Stick with coins graded by PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and ICG, unless you know how to grade yourself, very well at that.
Separate names with a comma.
