The luster of the coin is not what it should be. It has a greyish look to it which to me indicates the coin was rubbed with something. Sorry for...
Perhaps it is a roosevelt dime with an improperly annealed planchet? Vazzy, Is there any way you could get a better picture of your dime?
The coin has au/ms details, however it has been cleaned. As for the hair, I don't think it ever comes much more defined then that.
After double clicking the pictures (thanks Mikjo0), I also think the coin is for sure real. I didn't even really need to look though as GD spotted...
This may not always be the case, but more than likely what happened was a dealer sent many proof sets to PCGS, NGC, ICG etc. I'm guessing that...
Do you mean that you found a 2000 cent with the P mint mark on it? If so, is the mint mark clear, or are there only traces of it. If it is clear,...

Congratulations Chris! I am really excited for you! What an awesome opportunity. :D
Speedy, I haven't heard anything about PCGS copyrighting the term, but I'd be interested to know if they have!
Prometheus, If you do decide to get it graded, make sure you send it to either NCS or ANACS, as I don't think any of the other grading services...
I can only shake my head at the dishonesty of some.
If coins could talk, they would beg for people to stop AT'ing them, cleaning them etc. It's sad that sometimes I'm amazed to see an original...
Doug, I haven't seen too many NGC slabs, butt I think this one was graded sometime after 2000. Here is a picture of the cert. I can't see any...
Thanks for the opinions everyone. It is in a NGC 64 slab, and I felt that the coin was a 65. The coin has wonderful luster, a monster strike, and...
