@paddyman98 Another nice day in the wild for you. My buddy Ole Anderson has a You Tube channel for metal detecting. He was just contacted by Mine...
That is a great deal but I only have about 6 to be done. All are two feather varieties in mid grade.
Key dates are especially suceptible to increases in this past year. I almost got a very fine for $750.00 and think I should have pulled the...
I've been trying to keep track of this. My stapler is getting tired. It knows I'm retired and want to join the party.
This afternoon I walked by a vending machine and stuck my hand in the return coin slot and found this, along with a 1930 & 1937 wheat cents. I...
To be honest, I do not even know if TPG's add a date to these special labels. I don't collect any with special labels. Someone else here will know...
In this case I can't help but remember this term. When I worked at Zayre and W.T. Grant setting up the end caps was a pain because it was done it...
Parking lot roadkill.
I don't think yours qualifies as a close AM. Keep in mind, that often times, as a die wears, the lettering can get mushy and in this case may look...
Very nice. But I do wonder, with a first day label, why there is no date. All stamped first day covers and PNC's have a date.

Current guide on all three varieties is $55.00-$60.00 in XF 40, so yes, maybe a bit high at $80.00. The listing does not say which variety this is...
Why are Morgan dollars called 7 over 8 tail feathers? The 7 over 8 Tail Feathers Morgan dollars or 7/8 TF as they are called came into existence...
One of Ed's coins maybe? "Specialist in finding urine dipped coins for 35 years". @paddyman98 ;):D
@William Bailey I cannot tell from your photos what variety this might be. But I do know that WDDR-009 has a die chip on the top of the book. This...
Whatever stained this picked up the design and it travelled creating what you see, before it dried out.
A crack could be expected eventually with a die that has as much polishing as I see. Over worn die going on here.
I'm not sure but great pics. I am sure we could do better on edge lettering though. There was better work done on edges on classic U.S. coinage.
I'm wondering how many will be posting here about rare Kennedy halves they are finding in circulation with this date after 20 years of not being seen.
It's a no go Joe. But keep up the good hunt.
