Taking that into account, you didn't do that awfully. Just keep an eye on the silver price and the typical melt values.
14.5X face seems very high the way current silver prices are. Depends if the coins are worth substantially more than melt. Morgan looks like an...

Well, you can't get much better than free : )
If it is an MS coin, I see no reason whatsoever why it wouldn't make a 63.
16-D, 21, 21-D, 26-S, 31-D Honestly, any older merc F or better is worth putting aside.
Well, if it's a 1874, yeah I agree with $2.50. I didn't look very closely.
I've seen some MS slabbed coins that have apparent luster breaks just like this, well maybe not so blatant but still there, so I don't know...
Hi, I have a bunch of these airtights (one empty, could empty more) as I just bought a 2c collection. The 1872 is in my 7070, the 1864 small motto...
Beautiful. MS-64 * IMO, probably in a 65 or 66 * holder.
Look at the shield, unless this is typical of a weak strike for detail to be missing, there's definitely wear there.
1871 is much more expensive, and the details are way better than F-2, the corrosion just obscures a lot.
I personally would grade MS 62 or 63. It's probably in a higher grade holder.
I would say AU-50 at least. Shield and right wing have a little wear but it looks to be a really nice coin with some luster remaining.
Slabbed Unc Major Rarity $$$$
GDJ, you can seriously buy a proof $1 for less than 3X face? I'm quite surprised.
How much do presidential proofs in 68-69 go for? At least 3-5 each, right?
Really? They seem to be. I've heard that they have stronger standards for a strong strike. But, if the MS 70 marine dollar is going for some real...
175 sounds fine then, but keep in mind, BIG price difference between most NGC and PCGS MS 70 coins. PCGS is stricter.
Separate names with a comma.
