Those 1973-MS67s are likely 65s...none exist in 67 and only a handfull exist in 66 which is valued at around $400.
I use the cheap black double boxes as mentioned above and place old ANACS and undersized slabs in a vinyl zip lock bag so they fit nicer without...

I think it had a rough life...in a fire, buried, cleaned and polished repeatedly in jewelry, or maybe a very bad fake.
