Yes, but as I said worth 1 cent.
I've always called it a plating issue. It is technically an error but not worth anything as its so common.
Yeah I definately wouldnt have gotten that  Good thing it wasnt too expensive.
I believe is a shattered die. Are you sure it is genuine?
It's all damage. Not a die chip.
I believe it is die deterioration doubling.
I think it might be, but it's very worn down. First off, like you said, notching on the 7. And another thing is the "E" in "We". It looks almost...
can hardly see anything in these images lol. But no, I agree with above. It's not DDO.
looks like DDD to me
That would be a waste of money. The coin isnt worth that much.
It happens all the time - might have gotten oil on it or was in the ground for a while. I see them pretty often while roll searching.
Either that or a gas bubble or a die gouge. Pictures are too hard to see it. Its still only worth one cent, though all of these are errors.
What does it do when you don't use flat staples? I never have and it's never been a problem.
Yes, it's struck through grease aka a grease filled die.
Here is the half dime I got by the way[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Nope. Although, I asked for a few dates I needed for my wheat cent book and he had none. He mostly had silver stuff.
I went to the flea market yesterday and went to a coin dealer... He seemed pretty nice and I bought a half dime from him for $10... it was in VG...
congradulations :) I havent found a single double die yet
pictures are blurry and we need a close up of the date.
