I think it would get body bagged.
Bone, I personally would call it slightly lower. Probably around a 53. I like the coin quite a bit! :)
This for me is a really tough coin. I have had essentially zero experience grading coins with planchet flaws/lamination errors etc. Without any of...
Doug, are those several planchet flaws on the obverse/reverse? I really like the nickel. : )
Looks like a solid 64 to me. Nice pickup!
Thanks for having the contest! I feel that everyone here was equally responsible for what happened. It's nice to know that a group can band...
I'm 100 percent certain it is a counterfeit.
I should add that I am particularly interested in pre 1800 thalers.
I really like the various german thalers I have seen. I have decided that rather than try to learn about all world coins, which is impossible...
Aidan, it was in fact estatedoctor.

Jako, I am pleased to report that I have had my ban from ebay removed.
I'm not 100% certain, but I think the guarantee applies to copper coins that are in the blue labeled holders. I could be wrong of course, perhaps...
Frank, I think you are right about it being a clashed die. The bottom of the bust matches the mark.
Shortgabob, I think the reason it was graded a 64 and not a 65 was due to the carbon spots. In my opinion it is properly graded.
