Doug, I believe I see tooling at the 6th star, the button of the drapery, as well as in the hair quite a bit. Is this what you are picking up on?
g-6 details, corroded and cleaned. Not sure about the value.
I'm 99% certain it is not a matte proof lincoln, but without better pictures I can't be certain. The detail looks just a tad too weak, and the...
I personally would not submit it. Some people will not consider a coin FBL if there are 3 or more hits across the bells, regardless of size.
That coin, if it has original surfaces (which I STRONGLY question), would be a 64 at best IMO, and worth no more than 40 or so dollars.
If you send in the coins through regular service they will grade them. As far as bulk goes, it is as you say. : )
Roy (and others), I may or may not be there tommorrow. If I am, I should be easy to recognize for anyone. Just look for a guy who is a little over...

Bone, I see tons of square base 2's. Maybe one out 9 or 10 are the curl bases. I think you are right about this, but I've been wrong many a...
Leadfoot, is that graded? From the pictures it looks like a lock 66. The coin is nicely struck, and the leg isn't remotely fuzzy. The luster...
They aren't even close to full. It seems to me that on the 53-s and 54-s they are very very difficult to find in FBL.
I paid 40 dollars for it. There is little doubt in my mind that any grading company would grade it anything other than a ms-66.
I picked this one up recently. It is one of the nicest franklins I have seen. The hit in the left obverse field is hardly noticable in hand. The...
