I agree. I paid well over that for a VF coin last year.
That is a high end MS61. I don't know that I would put more money into having it regraded. Maybe check with Mike (where you bought it) and see...
It has also helped me when I was away from home looking to bid on an auction. I just log into my PCGS account, check my inventory and bid away.
