Decent MS 61, 62 maximum. I've got an 84' CC with less chatter that is 62.
The "In God" certainly looks doubled, has the split serifs. Not an ugly coin either. Do I see a really obvious split on the B of liberty?
I usually get those 5-15 wheaties in a box, and I find that pretty decent. To get almost one per roll is amazing. To get more is an absolute...
Wow, that's killer. Any good'uns?
Soon as I get a day off;0)
Hairline scratch marks on both sides of the coin. Especially on obverse, upper right hand side.
final tally of wheaties for that box - 1930, 1934, 1935 S, 1935 D, 1937, 1939, 1941 x 3 (all polished), 1941 D, 1941 S, 1942, 1942 D x 3, 1944 S x...
I hope so... I'm even starting to hope for an error or two;) Add 1947 S, 1945 S and another 44 S;)
Thanks! Still going... Found a 1930 and a 1950 S;)
To me it is excellent news, as I'm registered over there, with some of my nicest coins being in PCGS holders... Going right over to the site to...
This looks like it will be my best box ever. First roll had a cleaned 1935 S, I looked for enders and found one after a few rolls and it was a...
Wide AM, Deteriorated Die.
Went for the gorgeously struck and very lustrous A.
Agreed.
ms64 BN, I think. Obverse is lovely, reverse is too, with more visible marks keeping it from gem. Still have a feeling they went higher.
This was a good find not too far back, though it wasn't a Denver mint....
I was going to put a disclaimer that I don't know diddly about grading, but I suppose it's not necessary;)
Probably a 64, you can see a couple of light hits and a good one on the rim of each side. That said, I am not a grader at ALL, and am frequently...
Selling for around 12 -20 bucks on ebay, not a huge score, but fun nonetheless;)
Laughing my butt off! Looks like a simple file could do that.
