Just got this '43 D 5C in a new NGC slab not marked silver (1st pic)...looking at specific MS 66 5FS coins (2nd pic), the slab is marked SILVER....
Just wanted to say "Thank You" to all the people who work so hard to publish CT everyday for our enjoyment. [ATTACH] They do a great job!
Something doesn't look right here..."book value on this coin is approximately 25k"... This is a raw Carson City Silver Dollar from the year 1889....
It's clear to me that there is a large number of details graded '89 CC's out there...especially from Eternity coins. Anyone have ideas/theories...

I just read that the NGC star is for eye appeal and has nothing to do with the grade. Is this accurate?? Would that then mean a CAC on a * coin...
