IMO, there are lots of fair, good quality coin dealers on eBay. You need to do your homework first before buying, but I use that site frequently.

That 1909 VDB is wicked looking. Very nice. My favorite Morgan you posted is the 1883-O. I'll bet that copper toning works well with the luster...

IMO, they're not. It's a matter of preference. For more expensive specimens, I prefer them in a holder. I do have many lower price coins raw....
